ICTD ACADEMY RESUMES IT HUMAN RESOURCING

GENERAL SANTOS CITY (April 25, 2015) – On-the-Job students from various colleges in General Santos City join the ICTD Academy’s ‘IT Toolbox Seminar-Workshop’ held at the GSC Teachers and Employees Multi – Purpose Cooperative Building along Quirino Ave., this city. The main objective of the activity is to equip the students with the right tool to package then and their skills in the real world of information technology. The seminar-workshop is critical as strategies and techniques are cascaded to the trainees in actual coding and programming procedure. This will prepare them for the system development that commences right after the training.

All resource speakers are in-house talents headed by Percival Pasuelo, IT Officer II and Division Chief discussed the Effective Resume Making and PM tools: Gantt Charting and PERT computation while Leonard Pe, IT Officer I shred the Computer Programming Techniques and Computer Ethics Modules.

GIS was facilitated by Rolando Patac, Jr., Data Controller I, was one of the city’s pioneering GIS-trained specialist. Electronic Government Enterprise Architecture was summarized by Roy Detoyato, Data Controller II. Flowcharting Basics and Blogging Basics were discussed by Anna Lou Buyco and Irene Casipe, respective. Both are Computer Programmer I under job order status.
