POSADAS, NARIDO DEMO COLLECTION MODULE

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         GENERAL SANTOS CITY – Marcie Posadas, ICT-trainee from Holy Trinity College of General Santos City takes the floor to explain how the Collection Module under the Real Property Tax System (RPTS) can be operated with the responsibility of Mark Junnies Narido – ICTD lead programmer of RPTS, is in efect.

CTO OIC Department Head –Rodilon Lacap, C.P.A., attends the three-hour presentation at the Vice-Mayors Conference Room, 2^nd Floor, Sangguniang Panglunsod Building while CTO-Collection Division Head Leonarda Garingo and CTO-Land Tax Division Head Marites Sevilla join their staff in discussing concerns, issues and solutions in adopting new processes in the new technology provided by ICTD.

Posadas is the liaison support staff who mans the Land Tax and Collection Divisions in the implementation of RPTS and its Collection Module. She debugs errors, provides outright solutions based on users complaints and presents complex system issues to Narido for complicated problem solutions. She is supervised by Narido in learning the system and in the debugging processes.

ICTD was formally operation only in May 2013. RPTS is the first computerized system developed in-house by ICTD after its creation. Percival Pasuelo, IT Officer-II manages the whole projects while Leonard Pe, IT Officer I manages the technicalities of the projects.

As of May 2014 there are more than ten in-house developed systems are being implemented across the 23 departments and 10 divisions of the City Mayors Office of General Santos City.
